International School Ram-Eesh Manjari 2024-2025 85SEEDS OFCHANGE: THE JOURNEYOFVIKSITBHARAT(Story)In the heart of bustling village in India, where every dawn the sun painted the sky with hues of orange and gold, lived a young girl named Riya. She was a dreamer, filled with aspirations that sparkled as brightly as the stars in the night sky. Riya wanted to be a scientist, to discover new things and to bring development in her village. However, her dreams were often overshadowed by the harsh realities of life. Riya lived with her parents, who worked as farmers. They toiled in the fields from dawn till dusk, their hands roughened by labor, and their backs bent with the weight of responsibilities. Education, they believed, was a luxury they couldn't afford. But Riya's spirit was unyielding. She attended a local school which was more of a modest building with crumbling walls, but it was a sanctuary where she learned and nurtured her dreams. Every evening, Riya gathered with her friends, Akshath and Tara under a tree, discussing their aspirations. Akshath wanted to build bridges as an engineer, and Tara dreamed of becoming an environmental activist to protect their village's natural resources. Their dreams fueled Riya's resolve, especially when their teacher, Mr. Tiwari, announced a science fair offering a scholarship for the winning team. Riya knew this was her chance. Working diligently with her friends, Riya created a project titled \rnessing Solar Energy for Sustainable Farming\They built a solar panel model, aiming to demonstrate how solar energy can transform agricultural outcomes in their village. When Riya's parents expressed concerns about prioritizing education over their occupation of farming, she felt torn but remained determined. On the day of the fair, their hearts raced as they presented their project. To their astonishment, they won the first place. The scholarship meant Riya could attend a science camp, a dream she longed for. She immersed herself in learning about renewable energy and sustainable practices, envisioning a Viksit Bharat where electricity empowered every village household. Returning home, Riya mobilized support of her village people by meeting its prominent people and sharing her newfound knowledge. Skepticism lingered, but her passion convinced the villagers. With her parent's support, they installed solar panels, leading to a bountiful harvest that changed their lives. As word spread, neighbouring villages sought Riya's guidance, and she became a beacon of hope. Education flourished, inspiring students to dream big and innovate. Riya pursued higher studies, becoming a scientist dedicated to sustainable farming, and her village thrived, serving as a model for others. In this journey of Viksit Bharat, education transformed lives and aspirations into reality. Riya frequently returned to her village sharing her experiences and encouraging children to believe in themselves. Riya's journey reflected the power of education in shaping not only individual lives but the future of a whole nation. As the concept of Viksit Bharat evolved, the dreams of many thousands of children, like Riya, blossomed, proving that education is indeed the cornerstone of progress. Education is the beacon that illuminates the path to a prosperous future, empowering every dream to flourish in the journey of Viksit Bharat.RiyaX-DTHE TIME I SPENT AT MY SCHOOL(Farewell by the Head Girl - Falguni Pandey)\ spent with loved ones flies, But the memories we make with them become the prize.
