An event themed 'Say Yes to Life and No to Drugs' was organised on 2 October on the auspicious occasion of
Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti.
The students were addressed by Dr. Shikha Thakur, Excise Inspector, Gautam Budh Nagar. The Guest of Honour
formally administered a pledge towards abstinence from intake of illegal and addictive drugs and also inspired
the students with her encouraging words.
The event proved to be a jet of awareness in this age of drugs and addiction, a wonderful initiative taken by the
Government of India in co-ordination with Narcotic Control Bureau(NCB).
The event started with a road rally on the topic Road Safety and Traffic Rules and concluded with a poster
making competition.
