Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Ram-Eesh International School organised a special assembly on India's
freedom struggle under the initiative 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' launched
by the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of
Independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people,
culture and achievements.

The assembly commenced with lighting of the lamp and a classical dance
performance. The Principal, Ms. Shikha Singh, in her address welcomed
the Chief Guest , Sh. Dharmveer Singh, DIOS, and expressed pride in the
rich cultural past of our country. The students' enthusiasm was also
reflected while singing the National Song 'Vande Mataram' and patriotic
song 'Hum Bharat ke Vaasi Hain'. They celebrated unity in diversity by
participating in rangoli making and poster making activities.

Azadi Ka The Chief Guest addressed the students by instilling a sense of pride in
them and honoured the martyrs of the Freedom Struggle.

Amrit The function concluded by singing of the National Anthem along with
echoing of the slogan 'Jai Hind, Jai Bharat' by the children.
