FLIPPED CLASSROOM-A NEW APPROACH TO TEACHING There are many benefits of a Flipped Classroom, like -

             Conclusion:
Flipped learning allows a flexible environment when and where students can learn either in a group or
individually. In this type of learning, the emphasis is shifted from being a teacher centred to a student centred
process. In this method, the class time is dedicated to exploring new topics in greater depth and creating rich Despite these issues, the Flipped Classroom can still be a very effective, hands-on approach to improving

 How Does Flipped Classroom Work?
Record Lectures - Take a single module and look at your learning objectives. For writing objectives, you can
take help from Bloom's taxonomy of action verbs.
Assign Lectures as Homework - When introducing a new concept, have students watch lectures at their homes
and do mind that the video should not be more than 10 minutes.
Facilitate Engaging Learning Activities During Class Time - Planning the activities is the most difficult and
time-consuming portion of redesigning the course but planning the activities amply guides students in
acquisition of the most complex objective of the given module. Activities may be: think-pair-share, group work,
jigsaw, peer instruction, active learning, collaborative learning, discussion or debate, or problem-based
 learning.
Create Assessment that Frequently Check for Understanding – Short quizzes, one minute papers, or past
students performance can help where the students are struggling and for the concepts there is a need to provide
clarification at the beginning of the class.
