Graduates will develop into academically sound pharmacy professionals by acquiring scientific andtechnicalknowledgeandadaptingtoinnovationsandchallenges.2. Graduates will be able to communicate and work effectively as part of a team in their respectiveorganizationsandtakeresponsibilitiesandleadasandwhenrequired.3. Graduates will be able to learn professional ethics and imbibe value systems needed for growth and wellbeingofthesociety.ThefollowingaretheProgramOutcomes(POs)forB.PharmacyProgram:1. Pharmacy Knowledge: Graduates will possess the basic knowledge associated with the profession ofpharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioural, social, and administrativepharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices and would be able to handle drugs safely and ensure therationaleuseofdrugs.2. Planning Abilities: Graduates will demonstrate effective planning abilities to implement and organize workincludinggoodtimemanagement,resourcemanagement,delegationskillsandorganizationalskills.3. Problem Analysis: Graduates will have the ability to find, analyze, evaluate and apply informationsystematically using the principles of scientific enquiry, thinking analytically, clearly and critically, whilesolvingproblemsandshallmakedefensibledecisions.4. Modern Tool Usage: Graduates will be equipped to handle current instruments, technologies and use theknowledgeofmathematicsandcomputersfordruganalysisanddrugresearch.5. Leadership Skills: Graduates will have good managerial skills and entrepreneurship abilities. They shallassumeparticipatoryroles asresponsible citizensorleadershiproleswhenappropriate tofacilitate improvementinhealthandwell-being.6. Professional Identity: Graduates will have the ability to understand, analyze and communicate the value oftheir professional roles in society (e.g. health care professionals, promoters of health, educators, managers,employers,employees)andtheabilitytoresumeresponsibilitiesasasocialworkerandhealthcarepromoter.7. Pharmaceutical Ethics: Graduates will be aware of variousregulatory, ethical and legal aspects of pharmacyprofession.They should be able to honor personal values and apply ethical principlesin professional and socialcontexts.8. Communication:Graduateswilldemonstrate the abilitytoorallycommunicate ideas andconcepts clearlyinanorganizedmanner.They should be able to comprehend andwrite effective reports,make effective presentationsanddocumentation,andgiveandreceiveclearinstructions.9. ThePharmacist andSociety:Graduatesshould have the ability to apply reasoning informed by the contextualknowledge to assess societal health, safety and legal issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to theprofessionalpharmacypractice.10. Environment and Sustainability: Graduates will be aware of key environmental issuesrelevant to pharmacypractice and have the understanding about the impact of the professional pharmacy solutions in societal andenvironmental contexts (address key issues like Global warming, pollution and newer energy sources), anddemonstratetheknowledge of, and need for sustainable development. 11. Life-longLearning:Graduatesshould be able to recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability toengageinindependentandlife-longlearninginthebroadestcontextoftechnologicalchange.Self-assessandusefeedbackeffectivelyfromotherstoidentifylearningneedsandtosatisfytheseneedsonanongoingbasis.
